SIMBA^® CT retains the CT core technology of PINGSENG's large animal PET/CT system, but its software interface is specially redesigned. There has been no chinese manufacturer for pet imaging before, and the market has been monopolized by overseas products. Until today the CT imaging for pets has not been popular in China due to such reasons as:

Human CT can't be mixed with imaging for pets;

Imported CT systems dedicated to pets are expensive and animal hospitals can't get return for the investment within a short time;
